Teen Fashion- Has been Changing every minute


Teen fashion is a big part of the fashion world today. Every week stores come out

with many new clothes and accessories knowing that teens or the younger generation will

take to them and buy them. Also, every week clothing designers come out with new

fashions for teens all over the world. What is it that makes teen fashion so important to

teenagers in the world we live in today?
Not everyone has the money to buy brand or designer clothes all of the time,

especially teens, unless they have a job to buy their own clothes with. And in most cases

every average child or teenager has to wear what their parents can afford for them. The

kids that don’t have the name brand clothes get made fun of, called names, and teased a

lot. This is not fair when it happens to these teens or children who don’t have any control

or choice but who wear the clothes that are bought for them. Those kids that get teased

must and do feel down on life, and when they do, they can not concentrate on school or having fun.


Some people have been killed and beat up for the clothes that they wear or for not

wearing cool clothes. All kids should be cool for who they are and not what they wear to

school. The person, not the clothes, has the personality. The person is who we all have to

be friends with. Kids and older teens take the clothing issue way to far. They’re clothes

for crying out loud! You wear them for a day, take them off, and put on clean ones. Teens

should not be worried about what they wear. But, unfortunately some people believe that

they need to take it one step further by putting that person down to make themselves look

better than the boy or girl who doesn’t have the name brand clothes.

I believe that at some point in a persons life they realize what if feels like not to

have those designer or name brand clothes.

Cat walk- An Art of Walking

The 'catwalk' is the long, narrow platform that models use to walk during a fashion show. It is a raised pedestal that extends along the length of the room. The catwalk is compulsory for any fashion show, because it helps the audience to see the attire of the model clearly, despite being seated at the end of the room. The reason this platform is called the catwalk is because models need to walk very carefully on it, like a cat. Cats tread lightly, lithely and smoothly, without taking up too much space.  Since the model is expected to walk on the platform in such a manner, the platform came to be called a 'catwalk'. In some places, the catwalk also refers to the way a model walks.

Tarun Tahiliani- Pride to Indian Fashion

Tarun Tahiliani is a noted Indian fashion designer. With his wife Sailaja 'Sal' Tahiliani, he co-founded Ensemble, India’s first multi-designer boutique in 1987, followed by Tahiliani Design studio in 1990. Based in Delhi, he is best known for his ability to infuse Indian craftsmanship and textile heritage with European tailored silhouette. His signature is to combine traditional aesthetics with modern design. Over the years, he also became known for his bridalwear. Of late, Tahiliani has taken on several projects in interior design. He has designed interiors for hotels (such as The Sofala, Goa),restaurants (the Aish at the Park, Hyderabad), resorts and homes, and has even begun to event design for Indian weddings. Tarun Tahiliani is to introduce a designer TV made by Vu Technologies.
